TRI (Tactical Recording International), was born out of two totally frustrated musicians looking at ways to spend their time during the initial Covid lockdown in 2020
Nick Clack in Oxford, UK and Ian ‘Pump’ Macintosh from Sydney, Australia, exchanged a couple of recordings ‘to play around with’ to while away the time, being unable to gig
Nick and Ian had so much fun, they thought about doing an albums worth of material, as both had recordings they had been working on
It then dawned on them, it would actually make sense to record a socially distanced album and release it, to hopefully compensate them for the loss of gigs. This led to the consideration that to top it all off, they needed an ace lead guitarist – enter John Keston-Hole, who was in a band with Nick (The Missing Persians)
John proved to be the missing link and TRI was complete
The band recorded a nine number set, plus a dub remix of one of the tracks
The album is titled ‘Soddem & Begorrah!’ and is available on digital download from most digital platforms

The three of them had so much fun, that they have already started on a follow up, with the intention of maybe including other musicians as guests on some of the tracks
